LA CARN
La carn is a film directed by Joan Porcel, based on the stage play of the same name by actor and choreographer Lluís Garau. The story follows a young man who connects to random video call platforms, such as Chatroulette, in search of fleeting sexual encounters. Through these interactions, the film explores loneliness and the search for connection in the digital age.
The choreography work, like the overall project, is characterized by a blend of documentary, fiction, and performance elements, blurring the boundaries between reality and representation. The film also reflects on Garau’s creative process and his transition from the theater stage to cinema, which Martí translates and supports in the fictional part of the film.
